Now all I wish to do is access it on my 98SE PC so that I could install the drivers for it.įrom your BIOS you have a 720KB floppy drive. Why is this happening? Please help me out here because I spent over an hour trying to find drivers on my Windows 7 PC due to it being faster than XP and having WinZip already installed on it and then I had to transfer it from my Windows 7 PC to my USB Flash Drive and then from my USB flash drive to my Floppy Disk via Windows XP. Here are some pictures that I have to show you. so I seemed to have gotten the drivers on a floppy disk but my PC literally refuses to read my Floppy disks and I come across many errors in the process. To get a better idea of what the unkown devices are use this utility. You need to uninstall all your USB devices and hubs before installing the drivers. Make sure you follow the install instructions.

I also have no USB and internet access on my PC so basically the only way for me to install the drivers are-ġ Search the house for the motherboard disc.Ģ Install the driver installation file on XP and transfer the file to a floppy disk and then switch to the 98SE and insert the floppy disk and install according to the procedure.ģ Burn a copy of the motherboard iso onto a blank CD-R disc on my Windows 7 PC and then switch to the 98SE PC and install the drivers from the disc. The motherboard that I have is an old PCChips PC400 VT8233 motherboard. Here is a picture of the drivers I'm looking for. I tried to buy another copy of the disc from the local PC repair shop but he didn't have it. I did have the disc at some point around the house but unfortunately we cleaned up around the house and the disc somehow went missing. Alright so I just restored this old XP Pentium 4 PC and because I already owned an XP desktop I decided to install Windows 2000 but the installation caused problems and eventually I just stuck to Windows 98SE.
